Krill oil is extracted from a small crustacean Antarctic Krill the (Euphausia Superba). They live in huge flocks in the clean, cold waters of the Antarctic. Krill oil is a high quality and special source of healthy omega 3 and omega 6 fats. In addition to Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids (EPA and DHA), Krill oil additionally contains phospholipids and astaxanthin. Krill oil contains omega-3 fatty acids and omega-6 fatty acids in the outstanding ratio of 15:1. The high level of Omega 3 fatty acids is ideal since most people take over the food significantly more omega 6 than omega 3 fatty acids. However, astaxanthin is still a relatively unknown carotenoid. It is made of algae, fungi and bacteria, which thus protect themselves against external harmful effects, such as UV light. Astaxanthin passes through the food chain in animals such as salmon, shrimp or Flamingo. For these animals, the vitamin-like substance astaxanthin is very important for growth and survival: Astaxanthin protects their cells against damaging external influences and regulates the immune system. Each cell of the body requires phospholipids, which are the main components of the cell membranes. The body cells need enough phospholipids to be healthy so that the cell can combat stress and all the poisons that are constantly trying to destroy our health. The phospholipids in Krill Oil Omega Premium are particularly high quality because they are very similar to the human phospholipids in brain, where the concentration of phospholipids in cell membranes is the highest throughout the body. Note: Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Dietary supplements are not a substitute for a varied diet. A balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle are important.
